Putin says US probably behind attacks against Nord Streams

MOSCOW, Dec 14 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that the U.S. probably attacked the Nord Streams gas pipelines.

“The fact that E.U. is not getting enough (gas) is their problem... It was not us who blew up the Nord Stream and partially the Nord Stream 2. The Americans, most likely, did it or someone did it on their orders,” he said.

Putin said that Gazprom fulfills all its obligations, including gas transit through Ukraine.

Japan does not reject Russian energy, continues importing it, Putin said.

Russia has never had political reasons behind the gas supplies and is not going to do anything, the president said.

He said that Russia works on expending energy resources supplies, including to China.

Russia continues gas supplies to Europe, as Gazprom is a reliable partner, which fulfills its obligations, Putin said.
